Choose the kind of conversion you need

The CordaRoy’s Queen is the clearest starting point if you want a chair with a separate bed inside. If you simply want the same cushion to work flat and upright, compare the Jaxx Cocoon 6 or Lovesac PillowSac. These are different mechanisms, and the distinction should be clear before you pay for a convertible product.

A chair that can be reclined is not automatically an alternative to a guest bed. Decide who will sleep on it, how often and where the unfolded surface will go. The following shortlist separates bed-containing chairs from large cushions that change arrangement, using the manufacturers’ own product descriptions.

1. CordaRoy’s Queen Chenille: an occasional guest-bed solution

The Queen contains a bed listed at 60 by 80 inches, making its intended use easy to understand and measure. It is worth considering for a home office or den where visitors stay occasionally. The unfolded bed requires much more space than the chair. Include room to walk around the bed and somewhere for the outer cover; a clear chair corner does not necessarily contain a clear sleeping area.

2. CordaRoy’s Full: compare when the room is tighter

The Full version is the sensible size to investigate when a queen bed would crowd the room. It keeps the same chair-to-bed idea while changing the sleeping-space decision. Check the current dimensions for the exact Full model rather than borrowing the Queen measurements. The smaller sleeping surface needs to suit your expected guest. The smallest convertible bag is useful only if the person expected to use the bed will be comfortable with its size.

3. CordaRoy’s King: for homes that can use the extra bed area

The King is relevant when your guest arrangement genuinely needs more sleeping surface and the room can accommodate it. It should be chosen from the bed dimensions outward, then checked as an everyday chair. Check that you can manage the larger insert and cover while switching modes. Do not assume the largest option is the best value just because the price difference seems small; extra fabric and filling also have to be managed.

4. Jaxx Cocoon 6: reshape the same cushion

The Cocoon can be positioned flat or turned into a more upright lounging form, making it useful for a room that changes between reading and floor-level relaxing. This is an arrangement change rather than opening a chair to reveal a standard-size bed. Allow for the circular surface and the room needed to reposition it. Treat overnight use as a separate comfort decision, not an automatic substitute for a mattress.

5. Lovesac PillowSac: a large pillow with several positions

The PillowSac is worth considering if your main goal is flexible lounging rather than guest accommodation. Its broad pillow format can be arranged differently from a round sack. Compare the available frame separately if a fixed chair position appeals to you, because it changes both the cost and the footprint. An adaptable cushion still needs reshaping; it does not deliver a rigid sofa-bed mechanism.

Practice the change on paper first

Draw the room in both configurations, including doors, tables and a place for bedding. Check whether the product contains a separate bed, whether a liner protects the fill and how the covers are cleaned. Choose the CordaRoy’s size from the actual guest need.
