Fatboy Original Nylon is an appealing choice when the beanbag is meant to be a visible design element and you like a large rectangular pillow shape. It also deserves consideration when a lighter product and repair options matter. Choose it for that combination, rather than expecting it to behave like a deep round foam lounge.

The Original name covers several related products. This review concerns the indoor Nylon version, not Original Outdoor or Original Slim Teddy. Differences in size, fabric, and care are substantial enough that a positive review of one model cannot establish the performance of every product carrying the name.

How the shape works in a room

Fatboy lists Original Nylon at approximately 55.1 by 70.9 inches and 16.5 pounds. The cover is nylon, and the seat uses refillable EPS beads. Its big rectangular outline can make a deliberate visual statement in a plain room, especially where a conventional armchair would add another rigid piece of furniture.

Allow for the occupied shape, not just the rectangle laid flat. Think about whether you want to sit upright against a raised portion or recline with more of the pillow spread across the floor. If a tidy, consistent chair silhouette is central to the room, this flexible shape may be less suitable than a structured beanbag or conventional chair.

Care and repair are part of the appeal
