Big Joe Milano is our starting point for an inexpensive, compact extra seat. Yogibo Max is the better candidate when you specifically want a long, reshapeable cushion and can give it room. Spending more on Max makes sense for that flexibility; it is harder to justify if you only need somewhere to sit during a short console game.
These recommendations compare the standard adult Milano and standard Max. Big Joe’s Fuf foam range and Yogibo’s Premium filling are separate products. The presence of beads in two models does not make them interchangeable, because the panel shape and stretch of the covering determine much of how the seat behaves.

A chair-shaped bag versus a long cushion
Milano includes a shaped back and a carry handle. Its manufacturer lists a footprint around 30.5 by 28 inches. Max’s standard replacement cover measures 72 by 24 by 24 inches and can be arranged in different orientations. That length is useful for reclining but should be accounted for in the room when it is actually in use.
For a narrow bedroom, mark the walking route between the bed and the door before you draw the seat. If Milano preserves that route and Max crosses it whenever someone stretches out, the compact chair wins for that room. In an open den, Max may earn its extra space by allowing more than one lounging arrangement.
Cleaning separates them more clearly than slogans
Milano’s outer cover is non-removable and is spot-cleaned. Max has a removable washable outer cover, with care dependent on the selected fabric. Both brands supply ways to replenish bead filling. These differences are easy to overlook when shopping by color, but they affect a seat used daily around drinks and snacks.
If you share the chair with several people, removable laundry can be especially useful. If you live alone and need an occasional seat, simple spot cleaning may be enough. Consider where a freshly washed cover will dry and where the insert will wait. The more elaborate care option is not automatically the more convenient one in a small apartment.

Pick Milano when you want a clear seated position, a small footprint, and a lower entry cost. Pick Max when alternating between sitting and reclining is central to the purchase. Yogibo Lounger is worth comparing if you prefer the brand’s stretch-cover approach but want a more chair-like format than Max.
The last step is to price the exact size and fabric from the actual seller. A Milano Kids listing is not an adult Milano bargain, and a Max cover-only listing is not a complete seat. Check stock and the return route before ordering. A lower price should reflect a fair comparison between two products you would genuinely use.
